Delivery FAQ's

We value your business so when considering the delivery of your gingerbread creations we take into account  delivery time, that the product arrives in MINT CONDITION and also the COST  EFFECTIVENESS of the delivery for our clients.

We use AUSTRALIA POST CERTIFIED MAIL for boxed cookie pops and favour deliveries and use an EXTERNAL COURIER COMPANY for our gingerbread bouquetand houses. These deliveries can be tracked to ensure the delivery arrives safely. However,  as we use external couriers, on the rare occasion a delivery  may be delayed  by the courier or Australia Post,  which is outside our control, in this instance we cannot be held responsible for the delay in the delivery.  Please note we will contact you when the goodies are departing our premises and will always allow ample delivery time .Our goodies are also available from any of our retail outlets or markets.

Please note:  Orders for long-distance regional delivery should be placed 2-3 days prior to ensure timely delivery. Please call 0412 045 427 for details on availability and price in these circumstances.

If no-one is home to accept the delivery, gifts will be left safe if possible. Otherwise a second delivery will be necessary and incur a further delivery charge. If you don't want the gift to be left and prefer it to be returned to our store for a second delivery and charge, please advise.

Please note that our standard delivery service only allows a delivery date to be requested, we cannot specify a time of day for delivery. If you require a delivery to be made at a specific time, this may be possible in metro areas by placing the goods on a point-to-point courier at a higher charge

Quality Guarantee -If you are not satisfied with a product you purchase from us you can return it to us for a full refund of the product price. Refund does not include delivery cost. Please contact us as soon as possible and we will do everything to ensure a positive resolution. In the unlikely event that your That Gingerbread Place Creation is damaged in transit, we will replace the product however, please note that a photograph will be required for the replacement of any damaged goods and sent to us within 1 hour of the delivery. That Gingerbread Place will not provide cash refunds in this event.

Calculated delivery fee - Our advertised delivery costs are calculated per box. If your order exceeds the number of products that can fit in one box for the advertised delivery charge, we will contact you before dispatching if additional payment is required.

Delivery outside of Metropolitan areas (Rural Areas) - ase note that some remote rural areas may not be serviced by our courier service. In these cases, parcels will be delivered to the closest Australia Post outlet for delivery with regular mail or pick up by the receiver, depending on the procedure of the outlet. We cannot guarantee delivery dates in these areas.

Peak Period Delivery - In peak periods such as Christmas we will endeavour to have your gift delivered on the requested delivery date, however due to courier delays and circumstances outside of our control we cannot guarantee delivery dates at these times of year.

Cancellation/Changing Orders - A $10 Administration fee applies to all cancelled orders. This fee also applies to changes made to orders within 24hours of the selected delivery date. Orders cannot be cancelled on the day of delivery or if they have been dispatched from our store - these orders will be charged in full. Cancellations for customised orders will be charged in full.

Product substitution  - We endeavour to ensure all arrangements delivered are identical to the images advertised on our website. However, should a particular cookie or pot for an arrangement be unavailable at the time of purchase, we reserve the right to substitute goods of equal or greater value.
