Celebrating Christmas during July, what are you doing?

Australians families are embracing celebrating Christmas in July with the traditional baked dinner with turkey and the trimmings.  

Yulefest or Yuletide in Australia

Turkey, ham, plus pudding and gingerbread houses (of course) are what I think of when we celebrate.  In Australia,  Christmas in July, like Oktoberfest and Halloween is growing in popularity.  Although we often are asked to create gingerbread houses and kits, hotel gingerbread displays, plus customised gift ideas for marketing in July events.

DIY Gingerbread House Kits

This year our DIY Gingerbread Kits are walking out the door.  Our customers are purchasing the kits and allowing their creative energy to decorate their houses. Themed, customised houses matched to table decoration seem to be “the it thing” at the moment.

However customers are getting in early this year for us to create their gingerbread buffet displays.  Funny how each year is so different.  Are you thinking about Christmas now too?
